I created The Return Space not just to offer a safe space—

but to offer a threshold into the soul that so many of us long for as we are traversing these intensely trying and transformative times.

My work bridges Clinical Massage Therapy and Energetic Care, honoring both the physical body and the subtle systems that shape how we feel, heal, and relate.

Rooted in Massage Therapy and informed by Sound Therapy-the soul of my work, and nervous system awareness, sessions are unhurried and deeply individualized.

Working with over 1000 clients of all walks of life through the years has shown me the hunger people have for a safe space and a different approach that is not rooted in “no pain no gain” whether they know it or not when they come in.

To me it is about whether they feel safe enough in our interaction to then open their hearts so they can soften in their bodies.

We can only find those answers together when we slow down and listen…And we can only put one step in front of the other when we are being held through the chaos…

This is a place to come back to yourself. Whole and holly as you’ve always been.

    Ioana is a person who cares--deeply, genuinely-- for others.  This can be said about many wonderful massage therapists as it is a profession about care, but you will not feel it much more profoundly with anyone else.  I came to her with a moderately complex, not fully diagnosed injury and filled out the intake form extensively to maximize my chances for effective treatment with an RMT I'd never met before.  She studied what I wrote diligently before seeing me for the first time, and she took the time to further understand my condition in person with the utmost attention.  She focused not just on my injury but on my body holistically.
